Entakuyaku is Gavin Greene,
a freelance J->E game translator.

Originally from New York, I moved to Japan in 2009. Now, I live in Tokyo, where I work from my secret translation cave in Asakusabashi, typing away and putting virtual ink to virtual paper.

I’ve been a gamer since I first powered up an Apple II. I was a competitive FPS player in the early days of the (shudder) dialup Internet, fought on the RTS battlefields of Battle.Net, sliced a million porings in RO, and plotted world conquest in every tactical sim and 4X I could find.

I’m a huge fan of anime, light novels, manga, and Japanese culture in general. I’m also a voracious reader of fantasy, science fiction, and philosophy, a steampunk aficionado, a martial artist, drummer, D&D & tabletop player/DM…the list goes on.

If you want to know more about me, or just give me a Kirby-like “HI,” you can contact me here.
